Several months after her murder, Helen's body washed ashore in New York City's South Street and was delivered to her family and a sister, International Gospel Singer, Maria T. Maldonado, whose persistent prayers for God to return her sister's body to her, were answered. Helen was a young, popular and well loved woman with a sunny personality and warm disposition, who did not deserve to die a brutal death.The friends and family of this special woman have all united as one in their hopes and prayers to re-open a new investigation. One that they hope will lead to the ultimate capture of Helen's murderers. With great force and determination the Martinez and Maldonado families continue to hope for a new investigation.
